First chair is easy here. With Steamboat’s famous aspen tree runs and deep pow days right out the door, and in summer you can roll straight into the bike park when the snow finally melts. Back at the Haus, you can stash the gear, hit the hot tub, grab a beer or five at White Rabbit Tavern, or just post up with our Haus coffee and nowhere particularly urgent to be. Good rooms, good people, and very little standing between you and whatever Steamboat is doing that day - that's why we're here.

You're right at the base of the resort,
what else do you need to know?
Denver International (DEN)
3.5 - 4 Hours
Yampa Valley Regional (HDN)
30 Minutes
Free local bus, walking around the resort base, biking, hotel / airport shuttles, rental car & rideshare (when available)

If you’re flying, Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) is the easiest option, about 30 minutes from Steamboat. Airport shuttles and rental cars are available, and it’s worth booking transportation in advance since rideshare can be limited around Hayden.
From Denver International Airport, Steamboat is roughly 3.5–4 hours by car in good conditions. The usual route runs west on I-70, north through Silverthorne and Kremmling, then west on US-40 over Rabbit Ears Pass. Mountain weather can change that drive quickly in winter, so build in some room.
Once you’re here, Gravity Haus is already at the resort base, so getting to the mountain is the easy part.
Mountain Ready Rides offers scheduled airport shuttles & private charters to and from Denver International Airport, Eagle Airport & beyond
There are also multiple car rental options available - we recommend an AWD or 4x4 in the winter - it's actually the law.
Check-in begins at 4 PM & check-out is at 11 AM. Need a late checkout? Just check with the front desk, and if we can't approve it for your room, you can still store your luggage with us for as long as you need.
Gravity Haus Steamboat is located at 2304 Apres Ski Way, directly at the base of Steamboat Resort. The property is ski-in/ski-out and sits adjacent to the mountain, putting the gondola, lifts, Steamboat Square, dining and resort activity right outside the Haus.
Downtown Steamboat Springs is a short ride away, so you get the mountain-base setup without being cut off from the restaurants, bars, shops, river and actual town.
Here's our location information, or check your reservation confirmation for the exact address + easiest route, especially during winter conditions.
Seasonal Parking Rates:
Winter: Members $20, Non-members $40
Summer: Members $10, Non-members $15
Your room is definitely spacious enough if you're the type who likes to cuddle with your skis - but we also have a sizable gear storage room should you need to stash the goods.
Speak with the front desk for all our gear storage options.
Yes, bag storage is available so you can roll straight from the road to the mountain (or from check-out to one last mission).
Drop your bags with the front desk.
We have dog-ready rooms available, along with the fire pit so that the fur babies can share their stories...or hopefully just nap it out. Pet fees do apply & can be paid for at booking.
*no pet fees for members
Rest those weary quads after a day spent deep in the aspens, or just enjoy a slopeside soak because...you really don't need an excuse.
Start your morning right with a perfectly pulled espresso at Unravel Coffee - our haus coffee purveyor & roaster. Once the coffee has set in, you can fuel up on light snacks to beasty breakfast burritos - feel free to grab them to go on your way to the slopes.
Here's the online order menu
White Rabbit Tavern is Steamboat's favorite slopeside tavern & aprés destination. Fuel up with Unravel Coffee in the morning (see above) & then let loose in your boots for some slopeside aprés late into the evening. We've got all the tavern classics to keep you fueled up for your adventures- while our barkeep crafts up classic cocktails, haus libations & pours local beers.
Peep the menu here.
Wi-Fi is standard & Gravity Haus stays are designed with modern travelers in mind. If you need higher reliability (video calls, uploads), ask about the fastest connectivity areas or our coworking space.
Our coworking space is one of the finest in the land & the locals know it. With expansive coworking areas, bookable work pods & conference rooms, bottomless coffee & other goodies we'll save for your tour - there's no better space to work and play. Our coworking space is reserved for hotel guests & members use only - Day Passes are available & include access to our fitness & recovery ammenities.
Want unlimited coworking? Explore our membership options.
We've partnered with Ski Butlers to provide premium ski and snowboard gear rentals. We recommend booking ahead for the best inventory & availability. Gravity Haus Guests recieve 10% OFF gear renals when you book here - members enjoy 7 complimentary rentals (14 for families) per year & should book gear through the GH Life app.
You're welcome to ship items to the property, just give us a call to let us know. Please note that any shipping costs will be covered by you, through the carrier of your choice.
Cancellation terms depend on rate type and season. The most accurate policy is the one attached to your booking confirmation (refundable vs. prepaid, blackout periods, etc.).
Most hotels observe quiet hours to keep the vibes mellow at night. If you’re traveling with a rowdy group, feel free to call ahead about optimal room placements to keep everyone happy.
Most modern properties are non-smoking indoors (and often non-smoking on balconies/patios). If you need designated areas, ask the front desk.
Gravity Haus Steamboat contacts
Steamboat is built around being outside, and the good stuff changes with the season.
Winter: ski and snowboard Steamboat Resort, hunt tree runs and powder, soak in the hot springs, Nordic ski, snowshoe, ice skate or bop around town for live music and the local dive bar scene.
Summer: mountain bike the resort and surrounding trails, ride the Yampa River Core Trail, hike, fish or float the Yampa, hit the hot springs, catch live music and spend long evenings around town.
The hot springs are worth mentioning year-round, and Steamboat’s western/ranch culture gives the place more personality than the standard ski-resort bubble.
For Gravity Haus guests, the nice part is that the mountain portion starts essentially at the front door. White Rabbit Tavern, Unravel Coffee, the heated pool and hot tub, fitness space and coworking give you plenty to do with the hours on either side of the main event.
Feel free to ask your barista or bartender for the latest local itinerary & where to go for a good time -they know what they're talking about.
