Where Revelstoke Gets Lüfted

Lüft (pronounced Loooooooooft) is the core of Gravity Haus Revelstoke. It's the spot locals & transient powder hounds start the day with a Brecky sandwich and some quality caffeine from local Spilt Milk Roastery - and then return for aprés "story hour"
...or maybe it's the shot ski?

Frequently

Asked Questions

What's the best way to get to Vail?

There's a few ways, just don't end up on I-70 Things...

The two most popular airports for accessing the Vail Vailley are Eagle (EGE) & Denver International (DEN). Denver is the most reliable & high-traffic hub, serving most major airlines & routes, lots of shuttles & rental car options - expect a 2-3+hr drive depending on traffic. Meanwhile, Eagle Airport is just a stone's throw away & a quick shuttle ride to Gravity Haus Vail - most flights to EGE are connected through the DEN & are very weather dependant.

Mountain Ready Rides offers scheduled airport shuttles & private charters to and from Denver International Airport, Eagle Airport & beyond

There are also multiple car rental options available - we recommend an AWD or 4x4 in the winter - it's actually the law.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Probably good to know...

Check-in begins at 4 PM & check-out is at 11 AM. Need a late checkout? Just check with the front desk, and if we can't approve it for your room, you can still store your luggage with us for as long as you need.

Where is Gravity Haus located?

Steps from Gondola 1 in Vail Village.

Gravity Haus is strategically positioned at the cornerstone of Vail Village on Gore Creek. Walk right to Gondola 1 & start skiing or peruse all the local shops, bars & restaurants. There's a nice river walk & loads of trails to explore just outside the hotel as well. Here's our location information, or check your reservation confirmation for the exact address + easiest route, especially during winter conditions.

Is parking available?

Yes - we have valet & self-park options.

Self parking is around $60/day & valet is $80/day ($70 for members)

Do you have ski/board storage (or lockers)?

Yes, we've got room for all your shred sleds.

Your room is definitely spacious enough if you're the type who likes to cuddle with your skis - but we also have a humungous gear storage room, storage lockers & common areas.

You can reserve lockers at the front desk for the day or season.

Can I store my bags before check-in or after check-out?

Powder days don't wait for room keys.

Yes, bag storage is available so you can roll straight from the road to the mountain (or from check-out to one last mission).

Drop your bags with the front desk.

Is the property pet-friendly?

Good dogs. Good vibes.

We have dog-ready rooms available, along with the fire pit so that the fur babies can share their stories...or hopefully just nap it out. Pet fees do apply & can be paid for at booking.

*no pet fees for members

Is there a hot tub, sauna or spa?

It's Vail, we've got it all.

Hot tubs overlooking Gore Creek, saunas, salt rooms, cold-plunges - Gravity Haus Vail is fully equipped with all the wellness & recovery ammentities to balance out your adenturous tendencies with elevated rest & relaxation.

Don't forget to book your massages & other wellness services at The Spa here

Do you offer breakfast?

Of course, it's one of the best parts of the day!

Start your morning right with a perfectly pulled espresso at Unravel Coffee - our haus coffee purveyor & roaster. Once the coffee has set in, you can fuel up on light snacks to beasty breakfast burritos - feel free to grab them to go on your way to the slopes.

Here's the online order menu

Is there an on-site restaurant or bar?

Is there a bar & restaurant?! Let us tell you...

Slope Room & Gravity Haus have cemeneted themselves as the community hub for all-day sustenance. Fuel up with Unravel Coffee in the morning (see above) & then let loose with "refined" aprés in the evening. Chef is whipping up some of the most sought after mountain cuisine in Summit County - while our barkeep crafts up classic cocktails, haus libations & pours local beers.

Is there Wi-Fi? Is it good enough for remote work?

Yes, this is Colorado, not Uranus.

Wi-Fi is standard & Gravity Haus stays are designed with modern travelers in mind. If you need higher reliability (video calls, uploads), ask about the fastest connectivity areas or our coworking space.

Do you have coworking space?

Yes, It's the coworking jewel of Summit County.

Our coworking space is one of the finest in the land & the locals know it. With expansive coworking areas, bookable work pods & conference rooms, bottomless coffee & other goodies we'll save for your tour - there's no better space for work/life balance. Our coworking space is reserved for hotel guests & members use only - Day Passes are available & include access to our fitness & recovery ammenities.

Want unlimited coworking? Explore our membership options.

Do you offer gear demos or rentals?

Yes, only the best delivered right to your room.

We've partnered with Ski Butlers to provide premium ski and snowboard gear rentals. We recommend booking ahead for the best inventory & availability. Gravity Haus Guests recieve 10% OFF gear renals when you book here - members enjoy 7 complimentary rentals (14 for families) per year & should book gear through the GH Life app.

Can I ship skis/gear to the property?

Send it.

You're welcome to ship items to the property, just give us a call to let us know. Please note that any shipping costs will be covered by you, through the carrier of your choice.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Plans change, we get it.

Cancellation terms depend on rate type and season. The most accurate policy is the one attached to your booking confirmation (refundable vs. prepaid, blackout periods, etc.).

Do you have quiet hours?

We're all here for a good time & some good sleep.

Most hotels observe quiet hours to keep the vibes mellow at night. If you’re traveling with a rowdy group, feel free to call ahead about optimal room placements to keep everyone happy.

Is smoking allowed?

Fresh mountain air only.

Most modern properties are non-smoking indoors (and often non-smoking on balconies/patios). If you need designated areas, ask the front desk.

How do I contact the property?

Fast answers, no runaround.

What are the best things to do in Vail?

Other than slopeside aprés & powder refills...

Vail is iconic for a reason. When you're not exploring the seemingly endless acres of skialble terrain & libation lodges - Vail Village has an eclectic selection of shops, restaurants, dive bars & activities for kids, tweens & everyone on the ticket. You can explore nearby towns but really don't have to venture far - the best Spa in Vail is in your hotel after all. The warmer months offer miles of biking & hiking trails, rafting adventures & more.

Feel free to ask your barista or bartender for the latest local itinerary & where to go for a good time -they know what they're talking about.
