The Summer of Gravity Haus

Gravity Haus is heading deeper into the places our humans love most: the coast, the river, the trailheads, the mountain pass, and the kind of towns where adventure still feels baked into the daily routine.

This summer, we’re welcoming three new destinations into the Gravity Haus portfolio: Gravity Haus Westport on the Washington coast, Gravity Haus Missoula in Western Montana, and Gravity Haus Alta Crystal (coming soon) near Mount Rainier.

Each one brings something different to the map. Saltwater and surf in Westport. River-town energy and Montana trail access in Missoula. Big mountain quiet and Rainier wilderness at Alta Crystal. Together, they represent a clear next step for Gravity Haus: more ways to move about this planet, explore, recover, work, gather, and belong across the landscapes that feed our wanderlust.

For years, Gravity Haus has grown through iconic mountain towns: Breckenridge, Vail, Winter Park, Steamboat, Jackson Hole, Big Sky, Truckee-Tahoe, Revelstoke - places with weather reports are worth reading, trails are worth waking up early for, and communities that are built around the simple idea that life is better when you spend more of it outside.

Now, our gravity-fed map is stretching west.

Westport: Gravity Haus' First Real Step Toward the Salty Surf

Westport is the kind of Washington surf town that doesn’t need to over-explain itself. There are fishing boats, cold-water waves, beach walks, charter trips, seafood counters, rain jackets, surf checks, and a little sea spray on everything.

For Gravity Haus, Westport marks an exciting move beyond the mountains and into the pursuit of chasing swells. It gives our members and guests a new kind of basecamp: one built around surfing, fishing, surf checks, crab bakes, and slower days on the Pacific.

It’s not glossy. It’s not over-polished. That’s the point.

Westport is a real coastal town with real working-harbor energy, and we’re excited to bring the Gravity Haus experience to a place where adventure starts with the tide chart.

Missoula: Montana’s River-Town Sweet Spot

Missoula has always had its own frequency.

It’s part university town, part river town, part mountain town, part Montana creative hideout. People come for fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, live music, breweries, books, and that weirdly perfect feeling of being in a city that still knows where the trailhead is.

Gravity Haus Missoula gives our community a new home base in one of the most quietly magnetic adventure towns in the West. From downtown, you’re close to the Clark Fork River, Brennan’s Wave, local restaurants, music venues, trail systems, and bigger Western Montana missions when the air calls for it.

It’s easy to imagine the rhythm already: coffee, trail, river, work session, beer, show, repeat.

Alta Crystal: Gateway to Rainier

Alta Crystal brings Gravity Haus to the edge of one of the most dramatic landscapes in North America: Mount Rainier.

Set near Enumclaw and the Crystal Mountain area, this destination is built for people who want year-round access to skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, climbing, forest time, alpine air, and the kind of quiet that only shows up when you’re close to something massive.

Alta Crystal has long been a beloved Pacific Northwest escape. Our goal is to honor what already makes it special while layering in the Gravity Hauspitality approach: thoughtfulnessd, useful amenities, community connection, and adventure-first programming that helps guests and members get more from the place.

Why This Matters for Members

This expansion gives Gravity Haus members more ways to use the network and more reasons to build trips around the life they actually want to live.

Not every adventure needs to start on a chairlift. Sometimes it starts with a surfboard in Westport, a fly rod in Missoula, a Rainier trail map, or a long weekend that somehow turns into a story that's slowly stretched every time it's told around the campfire.

That’s the heart of this next chapter.

Gravity Haus is still deeply rooted in mountain towns. That isn’t changing. But the brand has always been about more than one kind of terrain. It’s about movement, access, community, and the shared pull toward places that make you feel more alive.

Mountains. Coastlines. Rivers. Deserts. Forests. Surf towns. Trail towns. Snow towns. The good ones usually have more in common than people think.
