Winter Park is ready to welcome skiers and riders back to fresh pow, Mary Jane terrain and legendary après parties. The 2021-22 winter ski season kicks off on Wednesday, November 17 with a first chair banner break at Winter Park Ski Resort. Here’s how to spend opening weekend in Winter Park.
SKI & RIDE
Dubbed Colorado’s best-kept secret and rocking an 80-year history, Winter Park Resort is Colorado’s longest continually operated ski resort. Spend opening weekend making your WP bucket list, embracing 3,060 feet of vertical rise and checking off iconic lines on Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Ridge, Eagle Wind and The Cirque. Get giddy about 3,081 skiable acres and 1,212 acres of off-piste terrain, including Vasquez Cirque and glade skiing. Look for the Mary Jane side of the mountain to open a week or two later, depending on conditions.
