GH is a community of like minded people. When I first moved to Colorado I fell in love with the natural beauty of the mountains. I stayed because of the people I met here who share a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors. GH attracts people with that same mindset. We want to go have fun but we also care about keeping the places we love beautiful.
GH provides me the opportunity to maintain a work/life balance that I have not experienced at other jobs. I’m lucky to have a job where I can go snowboarding on my lunch breaks. I also want to go check out some of the other GH locations. I know when I go to another GH there’ll be good coffee and a good wifi connection.
Create powerful moments? Getting to know the members when they come and stop by HQ has been so awesome! I used to work in a really busy and hectic ski shop and you never have much time to actually get to talk to the people you’re helping but at HQ I’ve gotten to meet and really get to know some of the members. It feels great to be part of a really rad community.
My favorite adventure partners are my best friend Will and my dog Feta. Will loves to snowboard just as much as I do. He’s always down to go find a powder stash in the trees. Sometimes we take my dog with us and go snowshoeing up on Rabbit Ears Pass. In the summer we go camping and/or hiking almost every weekend. Will loves to take Feta on his paddle board at Pearl Lake as well. These two love to explore the beauty of Colorado with me.
My Best Day Ever looks something like meeting up with some friends in the morning and grabbing coffee. We go and ski/snowboard all day. We come back to GH for some après. Next I would go home and take my dog on a bike ride. At the end of the day I’d go back to GH to relax in the hot tub. GH is centrally located and easy to meet up with people at. There’s great coffee in the morning and delicious après to enjoy after a day spent snowboarding.
