The newest Unravel coffee haus and eatery opened in September, bringing an innovative fast-casual concept to the buzzing mountain community. Unlike any Unravel before it, the Winter Park restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, après and dinner in walk-up counter-service style.
Gravity Haus Winter Park welcomes guests with a trend-setting dining layout that opens up to chic indoor dining tables, plush lounge space with a fireplace and an outdoor beer garden with a walk-up service counter and a gas fireplace.
The co-mingled space is very comfy with options for more traditional meals around the table and alternative choices for those who prefer to nosh breakfast burritos and chai while curled up on couches. There is also a StarterHaus co-working space upstairs for when it’s time to get work done with high-speed wifi while munching on Colorado-sourced eats.
Unravel’s design vibe is casual with sexy wood interior and an open beer garden out front facing all the action of Winter Park’s main thoroughfare. The feel is warm and friendly thanks to lots of windows and natural light, sliding doors and heaters dotting the outside patio. The all-encompassing floor plan invites members and guests to settle into a casual spot for answering emails or to gather friends and family for elevated cocktails.
CULINARY STANDARDS ARE HIGH
Culinary standards are high. Unravel promises to be the clean food refuel stop and après hotspot mountain adventurers are craving in Winter Park — beginning bright and early with sustainably sourced haus-roasted coffee and ending with a dinner experience to remember.
Expect meticulous standards for quality and freshness within this breakfast, lunch, après and dinner fast-casual concept. Chefs stick to quality organic and regionally sourced ingredients to shape ultra-focused menus. Breakfast must-haves include the bacon-egg-potato-bean burrito with cilantro-lime crema and the sourdough avocado toast with baby arugula and sunflower seeds. For lunch, it’s all about shareables, like the antipasto and hummus plates and the Colorado-sourced heirloom tomato salad. Standout dinner highlights span roasted vegetable, bean and grain Gravity bowl (a Gravity Haus classic) and the mountain masala with curried chicken. Save room for the decadent cookies and milk encore.
The goal is to create a comfortable, stylish and thoughtful place where you want to be. Check in at the front desk and order a coffee or a cocktail from the same front lobby extended bar — Unravel’s taps pour four beers, two cocktails including a seasonal rotating cocktail (think palomas and margs for summer), a hard kombucha and a tap wine. Roll out to the beer garden and cozy up to the fire pit with friends.
