When Covid hit, Breckenridge-based members Ariel and Will Cabana say Gravity Haus became their home away from home, serving as workout and office space when their kids — ages 1, 3, 7 and 9 — were unable to go to school and daycare. StarterHaus co-working space gave them the quiet and solitude they needed to get work done, while Dryland Fitness was the ideal outlet to keep them physically fit and mentally sane.
“They take advantage of Haus Quiver, our classes, the co-working space and open gym times. They’re a joy to be around and bring so much energy to our community,” Dryland instructor Linzee Vito says of the Cabanas.
Joy and adventure opportunities come from checking out the industry’s latest skis from Haus Quiver, storing gear in their Gravity Haus locker, bouncing sky high on the SuperTramp, soaking in the hot tubs and grabbing dinner from Cabin Juice. Pausing for hot cocoa in between family ski runs and warming up inside Unravel Coffee is a winter favorite.
“The kids love the trampoline. I think when they are all older they will get to take advantage of more amenities, but we do love hubbing out of there to ski,” Ariel says.
The Cabana family takes advantage of member lodging discounts and books staycations with friends in Breck, cozying up in bunk room suites and spending quality time bonding over meals and mountain fun. The candy shop in the plaza outside of Gravity Haus is a perk everyone loves.
As summer plans unfold, the active crew is eager to reserve paddleboards and camping gear from the Haus Quiver, to hit the gym and to nab a happy hour or two. The Cabanas and Gravity Haus will continue to foster community, offering families a comfortable, inspiring and adventurous home base.
