About Gravity Haus Overnight Experiences

Gravity Haus creates best-in-class experiences that welcome our community to spend time in reverence of the great outdoors, where you’ll embrace your inner adventurer, disconnect from the grind of daily life, and develop relationships with your fellow Gravity Haus members as you create memories outside, together.

About This Trip

The Gunnison Valley and its awe-inspiring views – including Taylor Canyon – will play host to this epic camping weekend near Crested Butte. For the second year in a row, we’ve rented out the entire Campfire Ranch, a private campground halfway between Crested Butte and Gunnison.

Each day is cholk-full of adventures, from fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, to floating the Taylor River, learning about backcountry cooking and astrology from onsite experts, and, if the weather gods allow, a foraging trip to get acquainted with the gorgeous flora and fauna in the area!

Wyld Honeys will be onsite to cook dinners each night, the best musicians in the valley will provide music to accompany each evening, to provide delicious and relaxing evenings. Top them off with a visit to the hot springs nestled into the river across from camp, or pop into the mobile sauna onsite just for Gravity Haus members.

About Campfire Ranch

  • Located off County Road 742, down the road from the newly paved Cottonwood Pass, our site is just 18 minutes to Crested Butte and 18 minutes to Gunnison. Taylor Canyon is home to some of the most iconic views in the Central Rockies, abundant recreational pursuits and outstanding access to nearby communities.
  • All campsites are walk-in and tent-only, which means no RVs allowed. This saves you from sleeping beside noisy generators, idling vehicles and slamming car doors each night.
  • Campfire Ranch features stress free camping: clean bathrooms, potable spring water, plenty of parking, easy access to trails, onsite trash, and unlimited free firewood!
  • Tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings & charcoal grills are furnished at each site.
