Yoga and Cacao Ceremony
June 10 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
- Skill Level: Beginner
- Event Type: Social
About the event: Meet at Dryland Winter Park and begin with learning about and enjoying a ceremonial cacao drink, then transition into yoga. Cacao is the purest form of chocolate that contains antioxidants and properties to assist in your healing process. This “medicine” from Lake Atitlan, Guatemala has been seen as a link between our ancestors and the heavens. Seen as a heart-opener, the potent medicine of cacao will increase your heart rate and brain function. It is a natural stimulant (does not contain caffeine but a property that acts similar to it without the crash). It also contains the same joy-producing molecule that our bodies naturally produce after a great workout. If you’re interested in experiencing the medicine of cacao through ceremony and movement join us! This ceremonial drink partnered with yoga will help to open and heal your heart.
