Virtual: Women’s Backcountry 101 Panel with Wild Rye & Revelshine Wines

About the Event: We’re so excited to partner with Wild Rye, the badass, female-focused technical mountain apparel brand who provides beautiful and technical mountain apparel that inspires confidence and gets more women outside on this event!

This virtual panel consists of Wild Rye’s awesome female ambassadors, who have created a welcoming environment for you to learn about a range of backcountry subjects, including:

• Choosing the Right Backcountry Adventure Partner (and how to meet them if you don’t know them!)
• Preparing and Packing for Success & Emergencies in the Backcountry
• Winter Backcountry Travel Basics
• Safely Recreating in the Backcountry – nature is bigger than all of us, so knowing what to do before you leave your house is critical to a safe backcountry experience
• Ask Me Anything – we’ll open the floor at the end to questions from attendees!

About the Panelists: The Wild Rye “Pro” Team is fueled by strong, hardworking and FUN women. When we think of pros, we’re talking “pros” at life, because let’s be honest, the majority of women are SO much more than their sport. These women are hard-working, harder-charging and incredibly worthy role models.

• Cassie Abel – After a decade in the outdoor industry, Casie created Wild Rye because she knew women deserved better options, and a community to match.
• Ingrid Stensvaag – Ingrid graduated from nursing school before moving to Vail to make playing outside a priority. Nowadays it’s weird if she doesn’t get 100+ days of skiing in.
• Emily Tidwell – Emily is a skier, adventurer and photographer based in Reno, Nevada.
• Lucy Sackbauer – Originally from Vail, Lucy now resides in Sun Valley, Idaho, where she can be found juggling her shifts as an ER nurse and getting in as many slope days as possible.

You must register by 12/11 to receive your wine on time. Note: we cannot ship to Utah, and cannot ship to a PO Box. An adult signature is required for the wine, it cannot be left at the door.
