About the Event: Not sure how to start planning for adventures this winter? We got you covered! Getting into the backcountry in the winter is dangerous and intimidating enough. With ever-expanding choices of skis, boots, boards, bindings, poles, packs, beacons, and everything else, it can be overwhelming to the novice backcountry adventurist. So, we’re bringing in some pros to talk through all the details on gear, and what’s essential. Having the right equipment can make all the difference in the world. We’re here to help you dig through all of the options, find what will accommodate your specific needs, and help you have a great experience in the outdoors!
You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions during and after the workshop, as well as meet others who are also new to exploring the backcountry in the winter!
