Event Overview
About the Event: Our former Denver Dryland yoga coach will be headed up to Breckenridge to walk you through what flow state is, how to activate one’s flow state, how it will benefit one’s performance athletically/recreationally, at work, in everyday life. We will be focusing on flow state through a few different circumstances; meditation, active strength and mobility flow, breathwork, and a sauna and cold plunge rotation.
What is a Flow State?
A mental state in which a person is completely focused on a single task or activity. It is the optimal experience of concentration and enjoyment with heightened senses. It means to be “in the zone” where you do not experience many thoughts about yourself or your performance. Flow state is similar to mindfulness, however, flow references situations that are productive not restful by nature and active (phsyical activity, creative pursuit, an everyday or job-related task). It is the fluidity between body and mind, completely absorbed by and deeply focused on one thing.
