Event Overview
About the event: Whether you are curious, new to or an experienced backcountry traveler, come join us to review basic avalanche awareness information. Learn about what an avalanche consists of and why/ where do they occur, what rescue gear to carry and how to properly use it. Bring your gear as we will be doing a beacon practice session. Also bring any questions or good stories from experience.
Can’t make it in person? We will be live streaming Cynthia so you can listen to this seminar from the comfort of your home as well!
