Modeled after a traditional mountain steakhouse, Slope Room pairs refined ingredients and simple, clean flavors with an equally tasteful bar and restaurant space. Fur, fireplaces, plush indigo half-moon booths, opulent chandeliers and an artful Gore Range topographic add to the enticing sexy après ski vibe.
The 126-seat restaurant — named for Vail’s legendary 1960’s Slope Bar — sits along the Gore Creek in the center of Vail Village. Blending the rugged spirit of the Old West with luxurious modern touches, Slope Room is a study in casual sophistication. The alpine eatery strikes the perfect balance between elegance, style and rustic Colorado approachability.
The Specs
Slope Room offers space for semi-private and full buyout parties. Choose from numerous polished dining and reception options.
Entire restaurant and bar buyouts can host up to 130 guests, including the elegant 18-seat bar. Fully private dining room events showcase a stunning fireplace, chandeliers and a long dining table for a sit-down dinner for up to 28 guests with additional cocktail hour reception space.
Semi-private bar receptions with a tended bar solely for you and your loved ones can host up to 25 guests standing with lounge seating. The semi-private Mountain Room located inside the Slope Room dining area hosts up to 40 guests. The newly renovated, fully private Members Floor welcomes up to 120 guests for a private bar cocktail reception with gorgeous views of Gore Creek.
THE FOOD
Slope Room Executive Chef Alberto Rogelio Soto’s menus are centered around sustainably and locally sourced ingredients. New American dishes are elevated, not pretentious, approachable and polished with a healthy balance of vegan and gluten-free offerings.
Chef Alberto has formed true partnerships with Colorado ranchers and farmers. Slope Room’s pasture-to-table concept aims to dig deeper and get back to clean ingredient-sourcing basics.
Customize your wedding event menu from an eclectic list of brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner and cocktail hour bites. Add personalized carving and chef serving stations, such as an artisan cheese display, elaborate charcuterie board, vegetable crudité, chilled raw bar, rancher’s carving station, delectable dessert station and local whiskey tastings.
