SPRING FUN ON THE MOUNTAIN
Spring skiing and riding at Breckenridge means deep snow, warm days and plenty of patio time to work on your goggle tan. Thanks to the resort’s 9,600-foot base elevation, March and April (and sometimes May) serve up epic spring turns and sweet late-season conditions. Breckenridge offers one of the longest-running ski seasons of any major resort in the country, aiming to operate into May.
Add the Imperial SuperChair — the highest chairlift in North America — to your spring skiing bucket list, along with the intermediate to advanced Peak 6 deep bowl terrain accessed from the Zendo and Kensho chair lifts. Rip spring snow on Breck’s signature high alpine terrain across Peaks 6, 7 and 8 and then cruise mashed potato groomers all afternoon once the sun has softened things up.
Breckenridge Late Spring Mountain Operating Plans
Breckenridge Ski Resort plans to keep all five peaks open through Sunday, April 16. Beginning Monday, April 17, the following lifts will operate for late spring skiing and riding:
Peak 8
Base area access out of Peak 8 is planned through May 7; after that all access to late season skiing and riding will be out of Peak 7.
