Years in the making, this groundbreaking new technology is Gravity Haus founder and CEO Jim Deters’ passion project. Jim’s deeply rooted appreciation for community and connection while playing in Colorado’s great outdoors has spurred the Gravity Haus internal tech team to build the JoinMe app.
“From my own personal journey in Colorado and in life I have had key friends, mentors and sherpas that have helped me learn new sports, discover new trails, new places and experience new things,” says Deters. “I believe our community is full of like-minded people that share a passion for the outdoors or a particular activity and JoinMe allows the ‘insider’ to host and create and experience and the ‘seeker’ the ability to connect with authentic and unique experiences.”
The feature is free to all members, includes chat and share features, offers a Google map location and tons of preloaded JoinMes that span a wide range of interests — think nutrition, yoga, networking, happy hour, adrenaline adventures and beyond. The JoinMe host can set the event to allow members to invite guests too!

- Create a social profile detailing your interests and adventure faves
- Decide if you want to host or attend a JoinMe experience
- If you’re hosting, create the event, set a date and location and invite others to join!
“This connection, sharing and learning is at the very essence of Gravity Haus. Helping connect others with these experiences, to learn a new sport or activity, and share these experiences with others is at the very core of who we are and what we stand for,” Deters says.
