WHAT THE GH CREW HAS TO SAY ABOUT ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN LODGE...
The food was top notch, not what you would expect for a property so far away from the nearest town. The property is ideally located around numerous trails and Overland Reservoir, and an immense amount of public land with beautiful views.I had the sausage skillet for breakfast and the pork chop with cheese grits both nights. Not to mention that the staff was absolutely amazing!!
Loved the idyllic location with access to adventures in nature just steps away. The property layout makes it easy to socialize with other guests. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful and the food was outstanding.
What a fantastic weekend at EML! The lodge location is perfect to enjoy the outdoors, from mountain biking, SUP, hiking, getting an adrenaline rush from driving a side by side, to fully relaxing and disconnect by the camp fire with friends and family! Bonus: locally sourced food!
EML is an oasis on Colorado’s Western Slope surrounded by groves of aspen trees with stunning views, comfortable cabins and even a game room! EML is family friendly, dog friendly and a wonderful place to get lost for a back-country experience in Colorado’s Grand Mesa!
From mountain biking on the rolling hills underneath the power lines to the single-track Terror trail to Paddleboarding and hanging out on the overland reservoir; Our time at Electric Mountain Lodge felt so secluded. No crowds. No traffic. Just winding country roads, aspen trees, wildflowers, and a delicious restaurant/ lodge to watch the sunset at the end of the day. When you get there it's like you stumbled on a little hidden colorado secret. We'll definitely be back soon.
EML is truly a hidden gem in Colorado. The views are breathtaking, the staff went above and beyond for all of us and the food and drinks were amazing. I highly recommend bringing your entire family or a group of friends and checking it out yourself! My husband and I will be venturing back for sure!
