Soda Creek Trail Repair Day near Keystone
June 25 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
About the Event: Join Gravity Haus and the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District to fix up the Soda Creek Trail near Keystone!
The US Forest Service does an amazing job prioritizing work and allocating funds to the most pressing needs in the Dillon Ranger District. However, their resources are limited. This is where Gravity Haus members come in! We’ll be helping them take care of the Soda Creek Trail to help care for and maintain the sustainability of our beloved mountain systems.
We’ll be engaging in moderate work (shoveling, clearing, etc.), and will be clocking in 2-3 miles total during out day on the Soda Creek Trail.
Where Do We Meet? The location can be a little tricky, but we will have FDRD direction arrows for you to follow. Plug in GPS coordinates 39.573272, -105.993263, and follow these directions: Take I-70 Exit 205. Head East on US-6 towards Dillon/Keystone. In 6 miles, turn right at the stoplight on W Keystone Road. Take your immediate left to stay on West Keystone Rd. In 1/2 mile turn right on Soda Ridge Rd. Before stables turn left on Keystone Ranch Rd (Co Rd 169) Keep following Keystone Ranch Road until you reach a turn around at a locked gate (~3 miles). We will meet at the gate and drive together to the parking location!
