About the Event: In this 2-part series, GH members and guests will learn about all things hut trips! GH Ambassadors, Cynthia and Whitney, will teach you:

• All about the 10th Mtn Division. They will give you a brief history of the division and how the hut system operates!
• How to book and hire a professional guide for hut trips
• How to navigate / travel safely in the backcountry
• How to get to and from the hut
• What to expect at the hut
• How to prepare, what to bring and what to pack for your hut trip!

About Our Ambassador: Cynthia Johnson is a competitive free-ride backcountry skier turned professional ski guide and avalanche educator. Mostly likely you will find her on the skin track on Vail Pass working for Paragon Guides. Cynthia loves all things outdoors but her favorite part of adventuring is building a community of likeminded humans.
