About the Event: Join local artist Erika Donaghy for an outdoor painting adventure at the Sawmill Reservoir! Come explore your creative side in a plein air (outdoor) environment – Erika will walk you through the basics of watercolor painting, and provide you with all the materials necessary to bring out your inner artist. Get creative and make the outdoor world your muse as you paint the surrounding mountains and Sawmill Reservoir!

At the end of the class, you’ll take home your beautiful work of art! This painting class is for all levels, no experience is necessary! We will be hiking to Sawmill Reservoir to paint so be prepared for a 1.3 mile loop!

  • What to Bring: Please bring water and a jacket in case it gets cold!
  • Where to Meet: We will meet at the Snowflake Lift/trailhead before taking the trail to Sawmill Reservoir.
