About the Hike: We’ve partnered with the amazing team at Paragon Guides in Edwards to offer Gravity Haus members a high alpine hiking adventure! Hiking the higher elevations in late May will most certainly involve some travel on snow. Even though the past winter has seen a lower snowpack be assured and ready for snow in the “high country”. Plan on a starting elevation above 10,000’, a round-trip distance of approximately 5-6 miles and elevation gain of 1500-2000’.

What Hike are We Doing? Weather and snowpack will decide where we go and what our goals for the day will be. Our late May “scouting” of the high alpine will help us decide on route options and what gear may be necessary.
What Should I Bring? The Paragon team will reach out prior to the hike with a detailed gear list, but note that gear requirements may include snowshoes, hiking poles and gaiters, depending how quickly the snow melts! Personal footwear needs to be a sturdy hiking shoe/boot. Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water are a must!
