About This Trip
Let’s go camping on the river! This is our all-time favorite way to spend time with our friends and family. This fully guided and all-inclusive overnight rafting and camping adventure takes place on the beautiful and pristine Upper Colorado River in between Pumphouse and State Bridge. The trip includes two days of rafting and exploring and one beautiful night of river-side camping. All meals will be provided and cooked by your professional river guides. We haul all the gear and set camp while you enjoy your evening on the river.
This section of the Colorado River offers scenic views including meadows, valleys, rolling ranch lands and steep canyon walls. This varied landscape is home to all kinds of wildlife, including bald eagles, deer, beaver, and big horn sheep, there is always something to marvel at.
Upper Colorado River Rafting provides mild Class I-II rapids and occasional Class III rapids at higher water flow. Join us in a raft or head down river for some intimate river exploration on one of our inflatable kayaks or standup paddleboards!
Itinerary
2 Weeks Prior
- Virtual pre-trip orientation meeting, where you’ll “meet” your host and fellow adventurers, and review all details in preparation for your trip.
Saturday, July 16
- Meet at the Silverthorne Boathouse at 8AM
- Gear up & meet your guide(s)
- Shuttle ride to Pumphouse on the Upper Colorado River
- River time with hikes, rapids, warm springs, and swimming
- Tasty river bank lunch served by your guide
- More river time and probable squirt gun drills
- Arrive at your pre-set camp
- Free time for fishing (Colorado license required), SUPing, kayaking and more
- Riverside dinner prepared by your guides
- Camp under the stars by the wild and scenic Colorado River
Sunday, July 17
- Rise and shine to a hot, gourmet breakfast
- River time and a visit to the endearing riverside community of Rancho Del Rio
- Tasty river bank lunch served by your guide
- River time & rapids
- Take out at State Bridge
- Shuttle back to the Silverthorne Boathouse with arrival around 5 PM
