About the Event: Experience the serenity of a Colorado winter in a whole new way! If you’ve never snowshoed at night, you’re in for a treat. Our expert guides will lead you on snow-covered trails under the night sky in Rocky Mountain National Park! Along with a few snowshoe tips and techniques, we’ll also provide all the equipment needed for this breathtaking celestial experience.
What’s Included? Guide, snowshoes, trekking poles, headlamp
What Should I Wear?
- Base Layers – wool or synthetic.
- Daypack – Large enough to carry water, food and layers.
- Insulated/Waterproof Boots – Suitable for snowshoeing.
- Snow Jacket
- Snow Pants
- Synthetic/Wool Layers – Clothing that retains warm when wet.
- Warm Gloves
- Warm Hat
- Warm Socks – Wool or Synthetic.
- Water Bottle
Is Transportation Provided? No – we’ll meet at a TBA location in Estes Park to caravan into RMNP, but transportation is not provided.
Any Additional Expenses? Yes – you will be responsible for purchasing a day pass to enter Rocky Mountain National Park (you can do this when you arrive).
