Intermediate | Adventure – Endure the most amazing views the Colorado mountains have to offer on this out-and-back hike during sunset!

About the Event: Join Amy P and Caly for a Sunday afternoon filled with good company, amazing views and adventure! Chief Mountain is located right outside of Idaho Springs and is sure to give you the best views of the Rocky Mountains. This is a 2.8 mile out-and-back trail that offers 360 views of the mountains and will not disappoint!

FAQs:

  • Pups: Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leash at all times!
  • Parking: You will be parking roadside as there is no parking at the trailhead.
  • What to bring? Microspikes are recommended for the steep top! Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks and a headlamp!
