Here’s the latest on ski resort trail conditions, snowpack and holiday blackout dates.

STAY: GRAVITY HAUS STEAMBOAT

Ski: Steamboat Ski Resort

Snow: Steamboat is reporting a sweet 60-inch base with 4 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Blackouts: Ikon Base Pass holiday blackout dates include Dec. 26–31.

Winter Must: Gravity Haus Steamboat is ski-in/ski-out right next to the gondola. Grab a beverage from the bar and take in the scene from a fireside seat on the deck.

Ski:

Vail, Copper Mountain, Beaver Creek

Snow: Vail is reporting a 44-inch base with 6 additional inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25. 

Beaver Creek is reporting a 33-inch base with 5 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Copper Mountain is reporting a 34-inch base with 6 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Blackouts: Vail and Beaver Creek Epic Local Pass holiday restricted dates include Dec. 26–31. Copper Mountain Ikon Base Pass holiday blackout dates include Dec. 26–31.

Winter Must: Dryland Fitness & Spa Vail is unbeatable for snow sports recovery. Pamper sore muscles with a Dryland Spa treatment, zen out in the hot tubs, cold tubs, sauna and salt lounge and delve into additional onsite recovery modalities.

STAY: GRAVITY HAUS WINTER PARK

Ski: Winter Park / Mary Jane

Snow: Winter Park is building on a 33-inch base with 3 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Winter Must: Dryland Winter Park is chock full of restorative offerings perfect for blissed-out après ski sessions. Follow up a yoga or meditation class with a soak in the outdoor hot tubs and some time in the steam, dry sauna and cold plunge. Revive tired legs with onsite Normatec Boots and Hypervolt percussion devices.

STAY: GRAVITY HAUS BRECKENRIDGE

Ski: Breckenridge Ski Resort, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain

Snow: Breck is skiing on a 28-inch base with 4 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Keystone has a 26-inch base with 5 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

A-Basin is riding on a 34-inch base with 5 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Copper Mountain is reporting a 34-inch base with 6 inches of fresh snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Blackouts: Epic Local Pass holiday restricted dates include Dec. 26–31. Copper Mountain Ikon Base Pass holiday blackout dates include Dec. 26–31. A-Basin Ikon Session Pass holiday blackout dates include Dec. 26–31.

Winter Must: Take some fresh gear out for a spin around the mountain. STAY: GRAVITY HAUS TRUCKEE-TAHOE

Ski: Palisades Tahoe, Northstar, Heavenly, Kirkwood

Snow: Heavenly has a 20-inch base and Kirkwood boasts a fat 53-inch base. Palisades and Northstar are both riding on a 24-inch base with a big storm rolling in next week (Dec. 27), forecasted to drop another 15 inches on area resorts.

Winter Must: Gravity Haus’ adventure outpost rests in the heart of Truckee-Tahoe. Onsite gathering spot Stella is a winter refuel requisite serving up seasonal nods to Mexican, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines.

Ski: Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk Mountain

Snow: Aspen area mountains are skiing on a 20-inch base with 1 inch of snow forecasted between Dec. 22 and 25.

Winter Must: Head to Unravel Aspen (open THIS WEEKEND) for a warm, inviting local scene. Expect live music, locally sourced après plates and brews and a pet-friendly heated patio just a few blocks away from the base of Aspen Mountain.
