Load your rental van with some badass Haus Quiver gear and experience the van life outdoor adventure lifestyle. Here are three 72-hour mud season road trips to get your engines revving:

Road Trip: Go West

The Route: Denver > Moab

The Mileage: 554 miles (one way)

The Van: LV|59X Promaster Camper Van for its full-length bed, full kitchenette and robust lithium battery and solar panels for off-grid charging.

Haus Quiver Gear Must: Spot Bikes Mayhem Mountain Bike

This classic westward road trip is perfect for October and November when Colorado is gearing up for ski season and the desert is prime with dry singletrack. Begin your trip with a stop at Iron Mountain in Glenwood Springs for hot springs bliss and an evening hike at Rifle Falls State Park (book a campsite in advance). Hit Grand Junction for biking and winery tastings or jet straight to Moab for epic mountain biking and other-worldly vistas at Canyonlands National Park or Dead Horse Point State Park. For stellar van camping, seek out the 12 BLM (first come) campgrounds along Highway 128 east of Moab next to the Colorado River.

Road Trip: Go North

The Route: Denver > Devil’s Tower National Monument

The Mileage: 391 miles (one way)

The Van: LV|59 Promaster Camper Van for its comfy queen bed, ample gear storage, dinette seating and ability to add two more passenger seats (bring the kids or two buddies and pack a tent!)

Haus Quiver Gear Must: The Camp Chef Pro 90X camp stove whips up a gourmet fajita night and the lighted bocce ball set is great for after-dark shenanigans.

When you want to get away from it all — city lights, traffic, work, everything — a trip to northern Wyoming is just the ticket. Check out all the rock climbing buzz at Devil’s Tower National Monument (guided climbing excursions available) hike the Tower Loop Trail, visit Prairie Dog Town and see the Circle of Sacred Smoke sculpture. Set up camp and take in some of the best night sky watching this side of the Mississippi. Stay in the park at the Belle Fourche River Campground (first come) and catch a ranger-led program on constellations.

Go South

The Route: Denver > Santa Fe

The Mileage: 392 miles (one way)

The Van: The LV|36 Promaster Camper Van for its functional layout and easy drivability. The vehicle fits in all standard parking spots and the tight turning radius makes city maneuvering and parking a breeze.

Haus Quiver Gear Must: Leki lite hiking poles to tackle the La Vista Verde Trail and a Hala standup paddleboard for the mellow stretch of the Rio Grande an hour north of Santa Fe.

Mild temps and lingering fall foliage make this southbound October road trip a go-at-your-own-pace treat. On your way, stop off at Cave of the Winds or the Cliff Dwellings in Manitou Springs. Cut west to play at Great Sand Dunes National Park and test your balance sand-boarding. Stay a night at the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs campground and soak under the stars before arriving in Santa Fe for full architecture, art and culinary immersion. Retreat to the Black Canyon Campground (reserve ahead) in the nearby Santa Fe National Forest.
