Cody Cirillo, is a Breck native, professional skier & designer. Early in his ski career, he was successful in elite-level contests, including competing in Dew Tour and globetrotting for World Cup events, finding himself ranked in the world’s top 20 slopestyle skiers.
In recent years, Cirillo has transitioned to more backcountry skiing and film projects as he’s parlayed his bachelor’s degree in environmental science to use his ski skills to advocate for environmental issues. Cirillo has spent time joining some of the world’s best freeskiers for films such as Faction’s “The Collective,” and creating his own projects, such as his latest film, “Made in Voyage.” The project was that of transforming a 1962 Chevy school bus — dubbed the “Honeyhouse Bus” — into a van lifer’s dream, and taking it on an epic adventure all across Western North America.
He continues to combine his creative outlook with his skiing, while using his environmental ethos to guide his projects.
The ideal adventure just has to involve good people and good skiing. Foot powered preferred, with some solid skin-track banter, goggles full of snow after a few tomahawks, and some tailgate bevs to cap it all off.
